James J. McCarthy

Mr. McCarthy has been lead trial counsel representing individuals in personal injury cases for over 30 years. His dedication and willingness to litigate cases to verdict is the reason our clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is a select group of attorneys from across the United States who have obtained verdicts over one million dollars.

He has won jury verdicts in medical negligence cases in many different areas of medicine; including obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, family practice, orthopedics, urology, and general surgery.

Mr. McCarthy is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland. He received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and The Pennsylvania Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. McCarthy has a long history of giving back to the community. Mr. McCarthy has been actively involved in youth sports. He is the past president of the Lower Perkiomen Valley Longhorns Football and Cheerleading Association of Pop Warner. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Lower Perkiomen Little League. He also coached basketball at Spring-Ford Youth Basketball League.

Nicole McCarthy, Esquire, is a partner at the firm and has been practicing law for over 25 years. She attended Temple University, where she majored in finance. She received her law degree in 1995 and is licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Her areas of practice include family law and estate planning.

Ms. McCarthy understands that family law cases are delicate and full of emotion. Ms. McCarthy is committed to alleviating the stress these difficult times may cause by providing exceptional, aggressive, and strategic legal representation. Her compassion for her clients by providing 24/7 availability sets her apart because family law issues are certainly more than just 9-5.

Ms. McCarthy has been volunteering in her community for years with youth baseball and football. She is a die-hard Philly fan and former Eagles Cheerleader. Ms. McCarthy is also an avid runner and completed the Boston Marathon.
